Howick Schools Moth plant and waste minimisation celebration Presenters: Kartik Bhat – Relationship Advisor Cate Jessep – Sustainable Schools Advisor Governance role: Keeping informed Summary of discussions: The Resilience and Infrastructure team provided the latest updates on the Howick Schools work programme. Local board members were informed about the updates regarding the projects – and staff sought whether any further communications were required.

Other Direction Setting Presenter/s: Victoria Villaraza – Local Area Manager Willie Thom - PA/Office Manager Matt Fletcher – Democracy Advisor Tracey Freeman – Local Board Advisor Governance role: Setting direction, priorities and budgets Summary of discussions: - The Local Area Manager introduced returning PA Willie Thom. - The Democracy Advisor provided an overview of upcoming Howick Local Board events. - The Democracy Advisor flagged a series of back-to-back workshops on Plan Change 78 on Friday 8 August - and noted that an additional business meeting will be held on Thursday 28 August to provide feedback on the approved draft plan. - The Local Board Advisor noted that Board feedback on the Bucklands Beach Yacht Club and Sailing Club leases will be postponed until after the elections. |
