Franklin Paths Programme Presenters: Mayur Chauhan Chris Charles, Rahul Gowtham, AT Vanshita Vanshita, Snr Project Manager Purpose: Discuss Reynolds Rd crossing; West St crossing; Station Rd crossing; Patumahoe/Woodhouse Rd Crossing - feedback and direction Governance Role: Oversight and monitoring Summary of Discussions: Options for the Whitford paths projects were considered. AT crossing projects were discussed, in particular Reynolds Road and West Street. Further workshops and direction will be sought in the new term. The Patumahoe and Woodhouse Road crossings are being reviewed and further design work will be done. Reports will be presented to the September business meeting Progress reporting on other paths were also reviewed with the board.. |

Hoskin, Graffiti Vandalism Prevention Advisor Purpose: Update the board on the Graffiti Prevention team work programme Governance Role: Oversight and monitoring Summary of Discussions: This briefing provided insights into incidents of graffiti and how Auckland Council responds regionally and in the Franklin Local Board area.

Auckland Urban Development Office – Unlock Pukekohe – Pukekohe Market Precinct Presenters: Sandy
Mills, Communications Purpose: Update the board on progress of the Pukekohe Market Precinct project. Governance Role: Oversight and monitoring Summary of Discussions: There was discussion over licensing and compliance for markets using the market precinct, and updates were provided on the project activity timing, including traffic planning for Devon Lane. |

Local Economic Broker update Presenters: Christina Rogstad, Local Economic Broker Purpose: Update the board on the work programme activities of the Local Economic Broker Governance Role: Oversight and monitoring Summary of Discussions: The broker provided progress against the Franklin Economic Development Pillars framework. An induction session will be scheduled for the incoming board.

Arts Broker – Annual Projects Review Presenters: Dany Miller Stephen Bain, Community Arts Broker Purpose: Presenting the annual work of the arts broker and proposing projects funded from the work programme line. Governance Role: Setting direction/ priorities/ budget Summary of Discussions: Highlights of the 24/25 programme were presented, and areas of focus for 25/26 provided. A further workshop to be scheduled in February 2026. |
