An apology was received from Chairperson D Light for absence. Deputy Chairperson B Burns joined the meeting via electronic link due to illness. The Board agreed for Member A White to chair the workshop.

Member M Turinsky declared a perceived conflict of interest in one of the Howick Local Grant Round One 2026/26 lines.

Governance role:          Setting direction, priorities and budgets

Summary of discussions:

-       The Senior Advisor ran the members through the process to provide local board feedback on Auckland Council’s submission on Local Government (Auckland Council) (Transport Governance) Amendment Bill

-       The Democracy Advisor flagged feedback items for the 18 September business meeting.
